The Enemy or The Inner Me? Romans 7:14-25
Is it always the devil attacking, or is it sometimes our own unresolved flesh, our inner brokenness, our unrenewed mind? Pastor challenges us to ask: Are we blaming external enemies for what’s really an internal war?
Paul says, “For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.” We see that even a man of God wrestled with the same confusion and conflict many of us face daily. The message reminds us that awareness is the first step to transformation — and that deliverance doesn’t come from our own strength, but through Jesus Christ our Lord.
By the end, we are encouraged to stop giving the enemy credit for what’s really a matter of self-discipline, self-awareness, and spiritual growth. Victory begins not by casting blame but by inviting God into the fight within.
